𝗕𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘀
The Community Extension office of San Beda College Alabang successfully mobilized its faculty, staff, and stakeholders in a coordinated relief initiative for families affected by the recent magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Mindanao.
Through the generosity of the Bedan community, essential relief goods—including food, drinking water, hygiene kits, and medical supplies—were collected, sorted, and packaged for distribution to displaced families and vulnerable sectors, particularly children and the elderly.
The initiative was carried out in partnership with Caritas Manila and the Civil-Military Operations Group of the Philippine Navy (CMOG-PN NCR), ensuring the efficient delivery of assistance to communities in need.
More than providing immediate humanitarian aid, the donation drive embodied the Bedan spirit of service, compassion, and bayanihan, demonstrating how collective action can bring hope and relief to those facing adversity. 🤲
