Institutional Advancement

The Research Unit, SBCA Quality Management System, San Beda Alabang Museum and Archives, and Alumni Affairs Office work together to support the institution’s mission. They collaborate on impactful research, ensure high-quality services, preserve cultural heritage, and engage alumni in lifelong development and community involvement, all grounded in the Benedictine values of “Ora et Labora.”

Research, Planning & Development

The Research Unit of the Institutional Advancement Division commits to serve as a platform to all stakeholders in attaining their respective research goals. The Unit offers the researchers collaborative solutions to accomplish impactful research outputs grounded in ethically sound procedures

Conduct research dissemination activities for faculty members

Seek services of external research paper reviewers.

Quality Management System

The SBCA Quality Management System (QMS) is a set of institutional policies and processes. It exists to ensure that the services we offer as an educational institution meet or exceed all stakeholders’ relevant requirements and expectations through continuous evaluation of operations constituted by a process-based approach.
Prepare

Prepare the documentation of institutional politics and process

Evaluate

Evaluate operations and determine if the quality standards are being met

Feedback

Determine the management and stakeholders’ feedback for continuous improvement of processes that will lead to exceptional business performance

Communicate

Communicate with the management and stakeholders to sustain the drive for successful completion of long term quality goals

Support third-party accreditation and certification in conforming to internationally-recognized standards

Supervise seminar/training being attended by and being conducted to the employees for professional development

Museum and Archives

The San Beda Alabang Museum and Archives is a non-profit unit in the service of the SBCA community and its development. It aims to conserve and preserve the evident testimony of the institution’s appreciation of its art, history, cultural heritage, and contribution to society; as well as to revitalize the Bedan community on the values of “Ora et Labora” (Pray and Work) as imparted by the Benedictine core values and to serve as a venue that will embody the soul and identity of the institution.

Revitalize the Bedan and Benedictine community of the values “Ora et Labora”, as imparted by the Benedictine monks

Conduct programs and activities that promote artistic development among the members of the Bedan Community

Lead the dissemination of knowledge about Bedan historical, artistic, and cultural heritage.

Study, Development, and Preservation

Take the lead in the study, development, and preservation of the Bedan’s artistic and cultural heritage, in the reconstruction of its past, and the enhancement of the Bedan wealth

Alumni Affairs

The Alumni Affairs Office opens opportunities for all Bedan Graduates to take part in San Beda College Alabang’s activities, whether on campus or in communities. It establishes a dynamic network of volunteers by maintaining a channel of effective communication and creating pathways towards the alumni’s lifelong development and involvement to serve communities following the school’s Mission-Vision.
