How to Apply?
Filipino Students Studying Abroad
Welcome to San Beda College Alabang! We are pleased to support Filipino students studying overseas who wish to continue their education with us. Below is a simple guide to help you through the admissions process.
General Admissions Policy
All applicants are required to undergo an admission screening process. This allows the Board of Admissions to carefully review each application and determine student eligibility.
Applicants are evaluated based on:
- Academic performance and deportment
- No failing grades in any grading period
- Deportment grade of at least B (Satisfactory) or its numerical equivalent
- Admission test results
- Student Academic and Discipline Appraisal (SADA) Form (SBCA Recommendation) from any of the following: class adviser, guidance counselor, former teacher, discipline officer, or authorized school personnel
- Interview results (when applicable)
Applicants coming from schools abroad, homeschooling programs, completers of previous academic years, or passers of PEPT, ALS, or NFE A&E are requested to inform the Student Admissions and Testing Center (SATC) of their current educational status for additional instructions.
Admission to the appropriate grade level will be based on the applicant’s Report Card or Transcript of Records.
Please note that admission slots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Eligibility for Application
- Nursery: Must be at least 4 years old on or before September 31 of the school year applied for
- Kinder: Must be at least 5 years old on or before September 31 of the school year applied for
- Grade 1: Applicants who have completed or are expected to complete Kindergarten at the end of the academic year
- Higher Grade Levels: Students who are promoted or expected to complete their current level at the end of the academic year may apply for the next grade level
Application Procedures
Filipino Students Studying Abroad
Step 1: Online Registration
- Register through the SBCA Applicant Registration Portal:

A temporary account and password, along with a link to the Online Application Form, will be automatically sent to your email. - Log in using your temporary account and password.
- Complete the online application form and upload the following documents (please prepare these in advance):

(No spaces or special characters.)
- Latest Report Card
- Authenticated documents with English translation (Consularized / Red-Ribboned / Apostilled by the Philippine Foreign Service Post in the applicant’s country of origin):
- Certificate of Year Level Completed or Certificate of Graduation (with school dry seal – photocopy and original)
- Transcript of Records (complete academic history with numerical equivalence or interpretation and school dry seal – photocopy and original)
Note: TOR and authentication of report cards are not required for applicants previously enrolled in Philippine elementary or secondary schools or Philippine-recognized schools abroad.
- PSA Birth Certificate
- 2×2 ID photo with red background
- Catholic Baptismal Certificate
- For non-Catholic applicants, please submit a duly accomplished Agreement for Non-Catholics Form(downloadable from the website)
- Student Academic and Discipline Appraisal (SADA) Form (SBCA Recommendation)
Please send the SADA form to the applicant’s former teacher, guidance counselor, or principal and request them to email the signed copy (digital signatures accepted) to:

Step 2: Application Review and Confirmation Fee
- Please wait for an email from the Admissions Office regarding your application status and next steps. Kindly check both your inbox and spam folder.
- Once advised, pay the non-refundable confirmation fee of Php 1,500 on or before April 30, 2026.
A Php 500 surcharge applies to payments made after April 30.
For Online Payment:
- Upload your proof of payment through the Finance Division’s Online Payment Validation Form:

For Onsite Payment:
- Present the Official Receipt (OR) issued by the Cashier to the Admissions Office.
Once payment is validated, the Admissions Office will issue your Test Permit.
Step 3: Submission of Original Documents
Upon enrollment, submit all original documents to the Registrar’s Office.

Tip: Ensure all documents are complete and correct to avoid delays during enrollment.
Important Notes
- Original copies of documents must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office once endorsed for enrollment.
- The name appearing on the PSA Birth Certificate must match all submitted documents. Applicants with discrepancies will be required to submit an affidavit.
- Enrollment schedules and guidelines will be posted on the Registrar’s Office bulletin board, SBCA website, and official social media pages.
- San Beda College Alabang reserves the right to decline applications that do not meet admission criteria.
- Applicants are responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of submitted documents.
- Additional documents may be required on a case-to-case basis.
- Failure to submit required documents may result in forfeiture of application or non-registration.
- Only applicants who qualify under admission criteria will be endorsed for medical examination.
