San Beda College Alabang student-athletes continued to make their presence felt in regional and national competitions throughout the year, earning podium finishes across chess, futsal, football, taekwondo, swimming, basketball, and volleyball. Their performances reflected the discipline, training, and teamwork developed both on the playing field and through the guidance of the Athletics Office, coaches, and mentors.
A strong showing came in the NCAA South competitions, where Bedan athletes competed across several sports. The Junior Girls and Junior Boys Chess Teams both captured 1st Place, finishing as champions through strategic play and focused competition.
The futsal teams also posted strong results. The Junior Girls Futsal Team took the championship with a 1st Place finish, while the Senior Women’s Team placed 2nd.
On the football field, the Junior Boys Team finished 2nd after a determined run through the tournament. In taekwondo, the Junior Girls and Junior Boys Teams each earned 3rd Place honors, reflecting the discipline and preparation of the young athletes.
The swimming teams added three more podium finishes, with the Senior Men’s Team and the Junior Boys and Junior Girls Teams all placing 3rd.
Bedan athletes also competed in the Metro Manila Collegiate and Universities Athletic Association (MNCAA) tournaments. The Senior Men’s Basketball Team and Senior Men’s Volleyball Team each finished in 3rd Place, adding to the school’s growing record in collegiate sports.
The year’s competition reached the national stage at the Palarong Pambansa 2026 in Agusan del Sur. Representing both San Beda College Alabang and the region, the Secondary Girls Futsal Team finished 2nd against some of the country’s top young athletes. Their performance reflected months of training, preparation, and teamwork.
Behind every podium finish are hours of practice, the guidance of coaches and mentors, and the support of the Bedan community. The achievements of these student-athletes reflect the values that sports seek to develop—discipline, resilience, sportsmanship, and the determination to keep improving.
As the athletes prepare for their next competitions, their performances give the Bedan community much to celebrate. On the field and beyond it, they continue to carry the name of San Beda College Alabang with pride.
