To ensure a clear and consistent policy on the conduct of classes during periods of inclement weather, San Beda College Alabang shall observe the following guidelines for the 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐓𝐆𝐄) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 divisions:
🌧️ 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐄-𝐓𝐎-𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃
Whenever the 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐮𝐩𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐆𝐔, 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧̃𝐚𝐧𝐠, 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 announces the suspension of face-to-face/onsite classes due to inclement weather, the 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬) shall be followed as the default learning modality.
This applies to 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐬 under both TGE and Basic Education, unless otherwise directed.
⚠️ 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: 𝐓𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒
If the announcement from the Muntinlupa City LGU, Malacañang, or another competent government authority specifically declares a 𝐓𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒, 𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝.
All classes shall be suspended for the period covered by the government declaration.
📌 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑
This policy applies during weather-related situations such as Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), heavy rainfall warning, flooding, and other weather disturbances that may result in the suspension of face-to-face classes.
Students, parents, faculty, and personnel are advised to regularly monitor the official communication channels of San Beda College Alabang, as well as official announcements from the 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐮𝐩𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐆𝐔 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧̃𝐚𝐧𝐠, and to follow the applicable directive 𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐝.
This policy is intended to ensure continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety and well-being of the entire San Beda College Alabang community.
