San Beda College Alabang’s student-athletes once again demonstrated the strength of the Bedan spirit as several teams delivered remarkable performances across major athletic competitions this season. From championship victories to podium finishes, Bedan athletes showcased discipline, teamwork, and resilience on the court.
Podium Finishes in WNCAA Season 56
Bedan volleyball teams also made strong impressions in WNCAA Season 56.
The Midgets Division Volleyball Team finished the season as second runner-up, earning a place on the podium after a series of competitive matches. The young athletes demonstrated grit and teamwork throughout the tournament, gaining valuable experience that promises continued growth in future seasons.
Meanwhile, the Senior Women’s Volleyball Team also secured a second runner-up finish. The Lady Bedans concluded their campaign on a high note with a victory over the University of Asia and the Pacific in their final match of the season.
Grade School Basketball Team Reclaims PRISAA Crown
The San Beda College Alabang Grade School Boys Basketball Team returned to the top of the podium after capturing the championship title in the PRISAA Tournament. The young Bedan cagers completed an impressive run by defeating De La Salle Zobel, 68–57, in the championship game.
The victory marked a historic moment for the team, reclaiming the PRISAA title that San Beda last held in 2017. Throughout the tournament, the Bedan squad displayed dominance on both ends of the court, combining strong defensive pressure with efficient scoring.
Leading the charge were brothers Chino and Jacob Tan, whose consistent performances proved vital to the team’s championship campaign. Ocean De Belen also played a key role, controlling the paint and anchoring the team’s interior defense.
Individual honors further highlighted the team’s success. Chino Tan earned a spot in the Mythical Five, while Jacob Tan was recognized as both a Mythical Five awardee and the Tournament Most Valuable Player.
Girls Juniors Volleyball Team Wins PRADA Championship
Another major triumph came from the San Beda College Alabang Girls Volleyball Team, which captured the championship title in the PRADA Volleyball Tournament – Girls Juniors Division. The Bedan Lionesses secured the crown during the finals held at Xavier School San Juan on November 29, 2025.
The championship run reflected the team’s unwavering determination and unity. Through intense rallies and competitive matchups, the Lionesses consistently rose to the challenge, displaying the discipline and teamwork that define Bedan athletics.
Their victory stands as a testament to the athletes’ hard work and commitment, bringing pride to the Bedan community.
