The Bedan Herald is the official student publication of San Beda College Alabang – Tertiary Schools. For more than three decades, it has served as a trusted source of campus news, information, and commentary while championing responsible journalism and freedom of expression.
As a training ground for aspiring journalists, writers, editors, photographers, and multimedia practitioners, The Bedan Herald promotes truth, accountability, and public service. It empowers students to engage critically with issues affecting the campus and society while upholding the highest standards of journalistic integrity.

How to Join
Bona fide students of San Beda College Alabang Tertiary Schools are eligible to join. Journalistic experience is not required, though preferred.
The Bedan Herald conducts two official recruitment periods: (1) during the freshman club recruitment at the beginning of the academic year, (2) and at the start of the second semester. However, the publication may also post urgent openings for specific positions as needed.
Applicants undergo an initial interview, followed by a final interview upon passing the first stage. Writing and simulation tests may also be administered in the overall evaluation process.
