Admissions & Procedures for School of Law (Online Classes)

San Beda College Alabang welcomes applicants to the School of Law Online Program. All applicants are required to undergo the admission screening process conducted by the Board of Admissions.

General Admissions Policy

  1. All applicants must undergo the admission screening process.
  2. Applications are evaluated based on:
    • Academic grades and deportment
    • Performance at interview (if required)
  3. Admission is processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Eligibility for Application

For Freshmen

  • Must hold a college degree or be expected to complete a college degree by the end of the academic year.
  • Must have good academic standing and deportment.

For Transferees

  • Must have no history of disciplinary cases.
  • Must have good academic standing and deportment.

For Refresher Applicants

  • Must have already completed a Law or Juris Doctor program.

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

STEP 1: Online Application and Submission of Requirements

A. Register and Complete the Online Application Form

  • Register through the SBCA Applicant Registration Portal:
    https://sanbedacollege-alabang.orangeapps.ph/landing/sbca/
  • A temporary account and password will be automatically sent to your registered email address.
  • Log in using your credentials and complete the Online Application Form.

B. Upload Required Documents to the Online Portal

  • Please rename your files using the following format:
    LastnameDocumentProgramAppliedFor
    Example: DelaCruzTORLAW (No spaces or special characters.)
  • Upload the following documents:
  • Transcript of Records (TOR) or Diploma (for Freshmen)
    • If TOR is not yet available, submit a Certificate of Candidacy for Graduation.
  • Certified True Copy of Grades (for Transferees)
  • PSA Birth Certificate
  • Catholic Baptismal Certificate
    • Non-Catholic applicants must submit the accomplished Agreement for Non-Catholics Form(downloadable).
  • 2×2 ID Picture (red background)
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character

C. Email the Following Documents

    • Letter of Intent addressed to:

D. Additional Requirements (To Be Submitted to the Registrar During Enrollment)

  • Prepare the following documents which are required upon enrollment:
  • Certificate of Eligibility to Transfer / Honorable Dismissal (Not required for SBCA graduates)
  • Certified True Copy of Special Order (S.O.) Number from last school attended. (Exempted: Graduates of state universities and colleges or private HEIs with autonomy/deregulated status)
  • If S.O. is unavailable: Original TOR with Special Order Number and remarks:
    “For Further Studies”or “Copy valid for San Beda College Alabang School of Law”
  • Original PSA Marriage Certificate (for married female applicants)
  • Certificate of Employment indicating working hours (for working students)
  • Signed “Undertaking Not to Join Any Unrecognized Organization” (downloadable)
  • Signed “Data Privacy and Media Consent” Form (downloadable)

STEP 2: Payment of Confirmation and Reservation Fee

  • Pay the non-refundable Confirmation and Reservation Fee of PHP 4,000.00
  • Payment options and instructions are available at:

  • Upload proof of payment (successful transaction screenshot):

For Onsite Payment:

Present the Official Receipt (OR) issued by the Cashier to the Admissions Office.

Applicants with validated payment will be endorsed to the Registrar’s Office for enrollment.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Applicants with incomplete document(s) may accomplish theWaiver and Undertaking Form (downloadable). The duly accomplished form must be emailed to [email protected].
  • Applicants approved for the Online Program will receive an email within 3–5 working days containing instructions for the Confirmation Fee (please check both your inbox and spam folder).
  • Applicants are responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of all submitted documents.
  • San Beda College Alabang reserves the right to decline applicants who do not meet the criteria set by the Board of Admissions.
  • Additional documents may be requested on a case-to-case basis.
  • Enrollment schedules and guidelines will be posted on the official SBCA website and social media pages.

Admissions & Procedures for School of Law (Onsite Classes)

San Beda College Alabang welcomes applicants to the School of Law. All prospective students must undergo the admission screening process to be conducted by the Board of Admissions.

General Admissions Policy

  1. All applicants must complete the admission screening process.
  2. Applications are evaluated based on:
    • Academic grades and deportment
    • Admission test results
    • Medical clearance (Fit-to-Enroll) from the SBCA Health Services Department (clinic)
    • Performance at interview (if required)
  3. Admission is processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligibility for Application

For Freshmen

  • Must hold a college degree or be expected to complete college by the end of the academic year.
  • Must have good grades and deportment.

For Transferees

  • Must have no history of disciplinary cases.
  • Must have good grades and deportment.
  • Must have a minimum residency at SBCA for at least one year upon admission.

For Refresher Applicants

  • Must have already completed a Law or Juris Doctor program.

Note: Refresher applicants from other schools or universities will be processed as transferees.

D. Application Status Notification

  • After submission of the online application and required documents, applicants will receive an email from the Admissions Office regarding their application status.
  • Please check both your inbox and spam folder.

 

STEP 2: Payment of Admission Fee

  • Pay the non-refundableAdmission Fee: Php 1,200.00

  • Upload proof of payment (successful transaction screenshot):

For Onsite Payment:

Present the Official Receipt (OR) issued by the Cashier to the Admissions Office.

  • The Admissions Office will issue a Test Permit after payment validation.

 

STEP 3: Admission Test

  • Follow the schedule indicated in the Test Permit.
  • Test rescheduling is allowed only once.
  • Slots are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Within ten (10) working days after the assessment, applicants will receive via email:

  • Notice of Admission Status (NAS)
  • Pre-Enrollment Guidelines (including Medical and Dental Examination instructions)

 

STEP 4: Medical Examination and Clearance

  • Applicants who pass the required medical examination and are declaredFit-to-Enroll will be endorsed to the Registrar’s Office for enrollment.
  • The Registrar’s Office will provide the enrollment schedule and guidelines.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Applicants from Benedictine Schools are waived from the Admission Fee and Entrance Examination.
  • Applicants with incomplete document(s) may accomplish theWaiver and Undertaking Form (downloadable). The duly accomplished form could either be emailed to [email protected] or submitted personally to the Admissions Office.
  • Applicants are responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of all submitted documents.
  • San Beda College Alabang reserves the right to decline applicants who do not meet the criteria set by the Board of Admissions.
  • Additional documents may be requested on a case-to-case basis.
  • Only applicants who meet the admission criteria will be endorsed for enrollment.
  • Enrollment schedules and guidelines will be posted on the official SBCA website and social media pages.
