San Beda College Alabang (SBCA), through its Education Technology Services (ETS) Office, warmly welcomed Mr. Peter John, the Digital Delivery Manager from Wiley’s Singapore Regional Office, on Friday, August 16, 2024. Wiley, a leading provider of digital learning tools and resources, has been a valued partner of SBCA for three years, providing access to a vast collection of over 5,100 e-books and 175+ WileyPlus course resources. This partnership has significantly enhanced the learning experience for both students and educators. The visit included a comprehensive orientation program for freshmen in the Tertiary Schools, introducing them to Wiley’s digital resources. The session emphasized the effective use of the Wiley platform to support and enrich their academic journey. Mr. Peter John also led a faculty clinic and training session. The clinic offered Tertiary Schools faculty members personalized guidance on how to integrate Wiley’s resources into their courses. The training session focused on familiarizing educators with the tools available on Wiley and WileyPlus, ensuring they are fully equipped to leverage the platform for delivering high-quality education. During the visit, Mr. Peter John made courtesy calls to key administrators, including the Rector-President, Rev. Fr. Gerardo Ma. De Villa, OSB, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Andres Ignacio C. San Mateo Jr. These meetings aimed to further strengthen the ongoing collaboration between Wiley and SBCA
