Bayanihan is a beautiful Filipino tradition that embodies the spirit of community and cooperation. It’s all about people coming together to help one another, especially during difficult times. The most iconic representation of Bayanihan is the image of neighbors literally carrying a house (a nipa hut) on their shoulders, moving it to a new location with everyone contributing their strength and effort. But beyond this image, Bayanihan represents any collective effort where Filipinos support each other—whether it’s through disaster relief, communal work, or simply lending a hand to a neighbor in need. It’s all about solidarity, generosity, and compassion.

In these trying times, especially at the onslaught of Typhoon Kristine, let our Bayanihan spirit come alive by helping those in need.
