WHAT IS ANGELUS? And why do I need to pause?

WHAT IS ANGELUS? And why do I need to pause?
🔔The Angelus is a prayer commemorating the Incarnation, traditionally recited at 6 AM, 12 noon, and 6 PM ⏰Its significance lies in remembering the moment when the 👼Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would conceive Jesus, the Son of God (Luke 1: 26-38).
⏸️By pausing for the Angelus, we show respect and reverence for this sacred event, integrate prayer into our daily routine, and create moments for reflection and mindfulness. Observing this practice in school, at home, workplace or elsewhere, helps us stay connected to our faith and brings a spiritual dimension to our day. Ora et labora…so that in all things God may be glorified! 🙏
