The San Beda College Alabang community congratulates the SBCA Council of Moot and Debate (CMD) on their outstanding performance at the Jessup White and Case International Rounds held in Washington D.C. from March 30 to April 6, 2024.
In their inaugural participation, CMD Jessup Team swept all 4 preliminary rounds, securing 2,969 Raw points and 29.5 round points. They surpassed teams from Mexico, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Italy, claiming the top spot among exhibition teams. Special recognition goes to Diana Jane Luib, Dave Umeran, and Ivan Aborot for their outstanding oralist rankings.
This remarkable achievement is the culmination of 7 months of intensive training, led by Captain Gian Romano, VP for Moot, and backed by James Carreon, with guidance from Atty. Uella Vida Mancenido-Gayo. Well done, SBCA CMD!
