School of Arts, Sciences, and Education (SASE)

  • BACHELOR OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

    This program prepares students to become formators of preschool and grade school pupils. Students will be trained to efficiently work with young children while being grounded in theories and pedagogical approaches to child development.

  • BACHELOR OF SECONDARY EDUCATION

    The program, with majors in English, Mathematics, and General Science, will produce highly competent education professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to be high school teachers in the K-12 Curriculum.

  • BACHELOR IN SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION

    This program will produce highly competent education professionals that can teach subjects in a general or regular education setting while addressing the concerns of individuals with diverse learning needs. Graduates of this program may also teach in special education centers and clinical settings.

  • BACHELOR OF ARTS IN COMMUNICATION AND MEDIA STUDIES

    This course provides students with theoretical and practical approaches to understanding the role of communication in society. It prepares students to become professionals in the effective and efficient use of communication with a focus on media. The Communication and Media Studies program provides pieces of training in communication planning, development communication, integrated marketing communication, knowledge management, multimedia arts, film production, and journalism, among others.

  • BACHELOR OF ARTS IN INTERNATIONAL STUDIES

    The program has three majors:  Tourism, Philippine Government and External Relations, and Asian Studies. The International Studies program prepares students for careers in travel, hospitality or the hotel industry, foreign service, intergovernmental organizations, and public administration.

  • BACHELOR OF ARTS IN PSYCHOLOGY AND BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN PSYCHOLOGY

    Both four-year programs provide students with an understanding of human behavior and mental processes. The programs educate students about the brain and its functions and the application of the scientific method to inquire into the different dimensions of human behavior. They aim to provide students with competent skills and knowledge in human relations and behavior through research and practical training. The interdisciplinary approach gives students various career options, including counseling, teaching, research, training, and human resource management. Both programs prepare students to be licensed psychometricians. The Bachelor of Science program is an ideal start for a career in medicine, while the Bachelor of Arts program can be a pre-law course.
