SATURDAYS WITH MARY: Understanding Her True Devotion ❤️
St. Louis de Montfort in “Treatise on True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary” highlights Mary’s central role in Christ’s mission, stating that Jesus entered the world through her and continues to reign through her. Known as “Alma Mater” for her humility and hidden life, Mary’s deepest desire was to be known only by God. In response, God concealed her life and mysteries from most, even her own parents and angels. 😇
Although endowed with great power and wisdom, Mary performed no public miracles and spoke little, emphasizing Jesus’ mission over her own. She is described as the pinnacle of God’s creation, a sanctuary for the Holy Trinity, and deeply loved yet humble. Saints have praised her as the holy City of God, recognizing her profound love, humility, and power, which remain beyond human comprehension.
From angels to devils, all creation acknowledges Mary’s blessedness. Christian communities worldwide honor her as their guardian, dedicating cathedrals, altars, and associations to her. Despite extensive devotion, Mary remains worthy of even greater honor and service, her internal glory given by God surpassing all external honors. St. Paul and saints affirm that no human can fully grasp Mary’s beauty and excellence, urging silence in awe of her divine grace. ❤️🙏
O MARY CONCEIVED WITHOUT SIN, PRAY FOR US WHO RECOURSE TO THEE! Amen.
