Pax!
As the clock ticks and moves its hands to show time, we realize the profound meaning of the passing of moment to moment and of how the past—never to return—and the future—constantly within reach but not yet—emphasize the present moment that either makes or breaks us. Yet, even if we find ourselves broken, the past and the future will always have the potential to make us whole and sustain us in wholeness and holiness. Indeed, Christ holds the past and the future, fuses them together, to bring us to the everlasting life of the present.
May Christ reign in our hearts and minds so that our present will always be whole—even as we put together the broken pieces of our lives. For Christ, who is the source of light and life, has conquered the darkness of sin and death, bringing us all to the everlasting presence of joy and peace where He lives with the Father and the Holy Spirit, forever without end!
As we mark the coming of Christ in history, and enter the Jubilee Year of 2025, I wish you all the grace of faith, hope, and love—a blessed Christmas and prosperous and peaceful New Year!
