𝗗𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧.
The winning entry will be used in promotional activities for the 2023 Sto. Niño Fiesta celebration.
𝐌𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐬:
𝐀. 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
1. The contest is open to all IBED (K-12), Technical High School, CAS, SOL, and Graduate School students, faculty members, and staff (except ETS staff) of San Beda College Alabang (SBCA).
2. Only ONE ENTRY per participant is allowed.
3. The poster must illustrate, interpret, and emphasize the theme of the 2023 Sto. Niño celebration.
𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒆: “𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒈𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑵𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒂𝒏, 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒅𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒂 𝑲𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒌𝒖𝒚𝒂𝒏, 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒂 𝑯𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒑: 50 𝑻𝒂𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒑𝒖𝒑𝒖𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝒌𝒂𝒚 𝑺𝒕𝒐. 𝑵𝒊𝒏̃𝒐”
4. The poster must be 8.5×11 inches, with 300 DPI resolution, and on a portrait layout. It must be saved in JPG or PNG file format.
5. The participants may use Photoshop, Paint, and other photo editing software.
6. Any artwork on the poster must be original in design. The judges will not consider poster designs containing downloaded images or clip art, default brushes or patterns, and design templates. The participant will be held accountable for any issues that may arise regarding the originality and authenticity of the design.
7. The submitted entry must not have been entered in any previous contests or used or displayed publicly.
8. No pre-registration is required.
𝐁. 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧
1. Entries must be submitted no later than December 5, 2022, to the submission link – https://bit.ly/SStoNiño2023DigitalPosterContest
2. The submission form will require the participant’s complete name, complete address, contact number, email address, and a minimum of 50-word caption or description of the poster.
𝐂. 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠
1. The posters will be judged according to the following criteria:
• Aesthetic appeal (35%)
o poster must captivate the judges’ senses, taking into consideration the aesthetic principles of symmetry, focal point, pattern, perspective, dimensionality, and proportion
• Originality (35%)
o It must show the ability to be inventive and creative
• Relevance to the theme (30%)
o It should effectively communicate the given theme
2. Decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.
3. Announcement of winners will be made through a post on the SBCA official Facebook page.
𝐃. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬
1. Three (3) winning posters will be chosen with the following prizes:
• First Place – Php 3,000.00 and a digital Certificate of Recognition
• Second Place – Php 2000.00 and a digital Certificate of Recognition
• Third Place – Php 1000.00 and a digital Certificate of Recognition
2. In line with the privacy law, winners, upon their consent, agree to disclose the publication of their names and other relevant information on the SBCA website and the official Facebook page of the school.
3. Winners will be announced through the SBCA official Facebook page and by email notification. The digital certificates will also be emailed, while the cash prize will be sent through bank transfer (to be arranged with the Finance Department).
4. The winning entry (First Place) will be used as part of the promotional activities for the 2023 Sto. Niño Fiesta celebration.
5. All submitted entries will be deemed the property of SBCA.
